KAIJU at The Road Theatre!

I'm over the moon to announce that, in just a month, my play KAIJU is having its world premiere at The Road Theatre! This comes after it being part of the company's annual Summer Playwrights Festival last year.

The show is being directed by Ken Sawyer, assistant directed and sound designed by Ryan McRee (who helmed the 2025 workshop), has a KILLER cast and production team, and, most exciting of all, is being produced as the inaugural recipient of the Southern California World Premiere Play Initiative—a new partnership where a major presenting organization joins with an intimate SoCal theatre to bring more new work to the Los Angeles area. In our case, the presenting organization is the excellent Broadstage.

We've got a pretty incredible spectacle, not to mention some other surprises, in store for our audience, so I don't want to say too much more. But if you're in the L.A. area, consider checking out what's truly going to be a wild night of theatre. It runs September 25th through November 1st (with previews starting on September 22nd), and you can get tickets here. I'll be there opening weekend. Come out and say hi!

Big thanks to The Road, Broadstage, and everyone involved for making this happen. This play truly takes a village...even if it's one that'll get stomped on by a couple of giant monsters!
